About Me

My name is Emily Lampman, and for as long as I can remember, I have loved horses.

As a kid, I wasn’t raised in the horse world. My parents aren’t equestrians, in fact, I’m the only equestrian in my family. When I was eleven years old, I spent a summer working, saving money, and taking riding lessons so I could buy my first horse. That horse, and the adventures I had with him during my childhood and teen years sparked a lifelong passion for horses, riding, and horsemanship.

I have spent my life trying to learn as much from horses as I can. They are my teachers, my therapists, and my friends, and my world is much better and brighter for the presence of my horses. Horses have introduced me to people that I count as lifelong friends and mentors. They have taken me on countless adventures back and forth across the country, from the bluegrass hills of Kentucky to the Great Plains of Colorado, to the mountains of Montana. Horses have taught me work ethic, humility, and resilience better than any person ever could. I truly wouldn't be the person I am today without them.

I believe that since I have been blessed with a life surrounded by amazing horses, I have a responsibility to help others experience the same. That’s why I started Lampman Ranch Horses. My goal is to help people pursue their equestrian dreams, build better relationships with their horses, and hopefully, spark lifelong passions for these incredible animals.
